BPIP Presents National Music Surgery Event, Bringing the Mission to Socialize the Values of Pancasila

Kapanlagi.com - National Music Surgery Event in order to Socialize the Values of Pancasila is held again this year by the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP). If in 2020 this event was held at UI Campus in Depok and Padjajaran University in Bandung, this time there are a total of 4 implementation areas, namely Banten, Central Java, East Java, and North Sumatra.

The series of activities aimed at socializing and instilling the values of Pancasila to the younger generation through music media will begin at the Auditorium of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Campus in Banten on September 23, 2021. The underlying idea of this activity is that music is a universal instrument that is very effective as a means of conveying messages. Moreover, music is also believed to be a medium for internalizing values to its listeners.

BPIP as the initiator of the program collaborates with Sinergy for Indonesia and Indonesia Care. This collaboration has also produced a national-themed music album titled Nyanyian Rumah Indonesia. Sinergy for Indonesia is a community of young people focused on the movement to build national spirit. This community was initiated by Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung, who is also the executive producer and lyricist of one of the songs in the album Nyanyian Rumah Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Indonesia Care is a social movement driven by musicians, artists, and practitioners from various fields who have a shared vision to care about the national condition. One of the initiators of Indonesia Care is Pay Burman, who is known as the guitarist of the band BIP and a music producer who has created many hit songs in Indonesia.

The event at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University was attended by:
1. Chairman of Commission II of the Indonesian Parliament/Founder of Sinergy for Indonesia, Dr. H. Ahmad Doli Kurnia Tandjung, S.Si., M.T.
2. Vice Head of BPIP, Prof. Dr. Haryono M.Pd.
3. Acting Secretary General of BPIP, Dr. Drs. Karjono, S.H., M.Hum.
4. Rector of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Prof. Dr. H. Fatah Sulaiman, ST.,MT.
5. Public Policy & Politics Expert / Lecturer at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Dr. Harits Hijrah Wicaksana, S.SOS.,M.Si.

The musicians who will perform include: Shanna Shannon, Conrad Good Vibration, and Slag Band. They will perform five national-themed songs, three of which are rearranged national songs, namely Anak Negeri (composed by Ahmad Doli Kurnia & Pay Burman), Rayuan Pulau Kelapa, Bangun Pemudi Pemuda, Dari Sabang Sampai Merauke, and Indonesia Rumah Kita.

The event will be held in a hybrid seminar format, inviting 50 participants in person and 500 participants online. Of course, strict Covid-19 health protocols will still be implemented.
