Bruno Mars Will Have a Concert in Jakarta, Save the Date

"We were impressed after Coldplay in 2023 and I think it's time for Bruno Mars to give two shows here," said Samantha Tzovoloz, CEO of Third Eye Management during a press conference in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Friday (21/6/2024).

Indeed, every time Bruno Mars has a concert in neighboring countries, fans in Indonesia have no hesitation in traveling to watch the performance of the American singer. That's why Samantha believes that one day is not enough.

"More than 50 percent of Indonesians come to Singapore for this concert, and we see that. So we believe in bringing this show to Indonesia. I don't think one day (concert) is enough. Fans cannot be deceived, so we see that. Indonesian fans are the most enthusiastic," she said.

JIS itself being chosen as the concert venue is considered very appropriate by Samantha. Moreover, it can accommodate up to 50 thousand fans who will witness their idol's performance.

"When I saw Ed Sheeran in that big stadium, I was amazed and it was a new experience for me. So I think JIS is my choice because I think it's very suitable, and I also see the audience's experience. That's why I chose JIS," she explained.

Co-Founder and COO of PK Entertainment, Harry Sudarma, said that they had considered holding Bruno Mars Live in Jakarta 2024 concert at Gelora Bung Karno. Unfortunately, the requested dates were not available.

"Firstly, because the GbK area that can meet the capacity needs for this concert is not available on the requested dates. So we decided to hold it at JIS, but we have already done concerts at JIS before," Harry explained.

"There have been many events and concerts held at JIS which are not sports events. There have been many learnings, improvements, and enhancements for various event needs. So we feel very comfortable and confident to collaborate with JIS," he concluded.
