Bunga Tiara Releases Single 'Menjadi Aku', Inviting Women to Appreciate Themselves More

"The message of this song is that when everyone looks left and right, thinking, ‘it must be nice to be them,’ it turns out that being what you see is not easy because every person has their own trials," said Bunga Tiara during a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (20/2).

With touching lyrics and a pop music arrangement with orchestral nuances, Bunga Tiara wrote this song herself based on stories she heard from people around her. For the production, she collaborated with Fajar as the producer and Mohammed Kamga as the vocal director, who helped enhance the emotions in this song.

The process of creating this song went smoothly. Fajar, the producer, revealed that from the beginning, this song already had its own strength. "The process, Alhamdulillah, was easy because the song is nice, she (Bunga Tiara) created a good song, the melody is great, and the lyrics are easy to digest. So indeed the song is already good, making the work easier," said Fajar.

Along with the release of the song, Bunga Tiara also launched the music video (MV) Menjadi Aku, which is now available on video sharing platforms. This music video is directed by Wisnu, who presents a touching visual concept that aligns with the song's message.

"Visually, many have confided in me, most of the women feel betrayed by their husbands. I want to tell the story of mothers who quietly manage to make their children graduates even though they are mistreated by their husbands," said Wisnu.

Highlighting the story of a mother who is able to raise her child alone despite facing various obstacles, this music video further reinforces the message that Bunga Tiara wants to convey in her song. "The essence of the story is that a woman can raise her child on her own," added Bunga Tiara.

With meaningful lyrics and strong visualization, Bunga Tiara hopes Menjadi Aku can be an inspiration for many people.

"I hope this song serves as a motivation to survive in life, to love oneself without comparing to others. It also reminds us of our own value. Furthermore, it reminds us that whatever you feel, share it with God," she concluded.
