"So, the first one was assisted by Praz Teguh. Everything was done in Padang. Then I had the intention that if there's another single, I want to make it in Surabaya because I am from Surabaya. So, for the Gancir song, everything was done in Surabaya, including the music video," said Arif in a recent conversation with Kapanlagi.com.

"The song is actually from the comedian Cak Blangkon. He asked if I wanted to make another single because he had a song. But the idea for the koplo version was mine. The motivation was to make people annoyed but consistent, like making them annoyed with the first song and then releasing a second song, hahaha," continued Arif.

Initially, Arif only did covers of other people's songs, until he went viral singing Seventeen's song titled Kemarin. Although his voice was 'annoying', the audience's response was actually very good. Even if there were people who criticized, it was because they were entertained. Arif's appearance in covering songs was also not separated from the hands of Tretan Muslim.

"Initially, it was Muslim. He stayed at his house in Surabaya. He got annoyed hearing me sing. He had the idea of ​​why not just record covers of other people's songs, then upload them on YouTube so that not only he would be annoyed, but many people," he explained.
