Kapanlagi.com - In the Ska-Punk music scene, especially in the 90s era, the name DHIE or Hadi Adjam must be familiar. He used to be the vocalist of the band Noin Bullet, a famous ska band from Bandung.
Currently, DHIE is more focused on his family, considering that he already has 2 children who are growing up. However, it seems that the musical spirit within him cannot be easily restrained. DHIE recently made a comeback and released his solo project single titled Ketika Kau Tiba (When You Arrive).
The song was written by DHIE himself and tells a story of a great love from a father to his child. Yes, Ketika Kau Tiba is specifically dedicated by Dhie to his two beloved children.
"The story of this song is a moment in my life when I had a child. When I saw him open his eyes for the first time, I knew I had to think about a different life. I can't forget that moment and it changed my perspective on life and living, that there is a life that we must live to stay alive," Dhie explained about his song.

DHIE is currently staying in Bali with his family. The recording process of the song 'When You Arrive' was also done there. In its production, DHIE was assisted by his brother, Chaerul Adjam, and also Aldisyah Latuihamallo as the music arranger.
"The basic music itself took about 2 hours to work on and the total production time was about 2 months. Actually, I had made this song a long time ago, then I discussed it with my brother because we often make music together. Then we discussed with Bung Aldi about how the music should be. What's important is that there are people who understand me personally to work on this song, because it might be a bit difficult to understand my desires. I want it to be simple but able to reach the emotions of many people," added Dhie.

The vocal character of DHIE sounds different on the single Ketika Kau Tiba compared to when he sings with his band. This time, DHIE showcases a heavy and slightly husky vocal timbre, which becomes the strength of his new single.
"I hope this song can inspire everyone that in life, there are always moments where we have something new to fight for. Because this song talks about a child's life, we must love them and give them the best life possible," Dhie concluded.
