Disappointed in Former Friends, Posan Tobing Says that Kotak Band Still Sings - Changed Lyrics of His Songs

After the report, Posan also expressed his disappointment with the members of the band Kotak who are still performing his song. Therefore, he chose to take legal action and report his former friends to the authorities.

"Yes, I am very disappointed with what my former friends, Tantri, Sella, and Chua, did. They still perform that song," said Posan Tobing.

Not only that, according to Posan, the members of the band Kotak consider the issue to be not very important to them. He also said that Tantri and others seemed to mock his statement.

"I even saw in their video that it seemed like they were mocking, there were friends asking for examples like concerts at PRJ," said Posan Tobing.

"After we warned them while joking around, they said wait and see, but it turns out they still performed it. It's like that," he continued.

In addition, on several occasions Posan also found the band Kotak changing the lyrics of some of his songs. This made Posan feel unappreciated as a songwriter.

"There are several concerts where we saw them perform the song and change the lyrics. The lyrics were converted into local language, with the same melody and lyrics, and without permission of course, and that violates copyright laws, especially my moral rights because they didn't ask for permission," he concluded.
