Expressing the Hearts of Employees, Indomusik Team Releases their Debut Single Titled 'Naik Gaji Boss'

Kapanlagi.com - The music scene in the country is once again enlivened by relatively new musicians. Yes, Indomusik Team is here to bring a different color. Indomusik Team is known as a music group from Indomusikgram, which is the largest digital music media and community in Indonesia.

Interestingly, Indomusik Team itself does not have definite members or personnel because each of them is an employee working at the office that manages Indomusikgram.

In a virtual press conference through the metaverse on Friday (28/1), Indomusik Team released a debut single titled Naik Gaji Boss. The members involved in this single consist of 4 members, namely Raracellina, Alfiromi, DedeAP, and Yosdwipa.

This single is an important step for Indomusikgram and Indomusik Team, who are known for their existence through music cover works and comedy music content on social media. This single was created by musician David Josade based on his personal experience as an office employee.

Released in January 2022, this song tells about the heartfelt expression of employees who ask for a salary increase from their superiors, but dare not express it directly.

2. A Unique Way

"This song is actually one of the creative and unique ways to convey aspirations because it is about pouring out feelings that cannot be directly expressed," explained Raracellina.

The arrangement of this song is very rich in acoustic and acappella elements, which is well-known from the Indomusik Team through the Petik (Acoustic Performance) program on the Indomusikgram YouTube channel, which until today has garnered tens of millions of views.

3. Adapting to the Pandemic Era

This song also has a part where there is interaction between employees and superiors, where the superior explains that the decision to increase salary is closely related to the company's (financial) condition.

"We added a few lyrics to the song Naik Gaji Boss to adapt to this pandemic era, because not only employees are experiencing difficulties, but the company also feels the same. That's why we adjusted the lyrics again," said Alfiromi.
