.Feast Brings a Message of Solidarity for Palestine at Joyland Festival 2024

Kapanlagi.com - The band .Feast was one of the performers on the first day of Joyland Festival 2024, Friday (22/11/2024). Making their debut at this festival, Baskara CS successfully heated up the stage at the Plainsong Live Stage.

Opening their performance, .Feast played energetic songs such as Konsekuens, Sectumsempra, and Tarian Penghancur Raya. In the midst of their stage act, bassist Awan enthusiastically introduced his band.

"Good afternoon Joyland, we are .Feast. For those who don't know us yet, let's get acquainted again, because this is our first time performing at Joyland," said Awan from the stage.

1. Performing His Hit Songs

Not only performing hit songs, Awan also shared personal stories about the song Nina, which was inspired by Adnan's relationship with his beloved child. An emotional moment was felt when Awan pointed to Nina, the inspiration, who was present among the audience to support her father.

The performance continued with other songs such as Tarot and O, Sir. Awan did not forget to express his pride in being able to perform at Joyland after 11 years of career.

"Performing at Joyland is one of our dreams. Finally, this year it has come true," said Awan.

2. Conveying a Message of Solidarity

However, .Feast's action this time felt more meaningful when they conveyed a message of solidarity for Palestine. Awan expressed his hope that the Palestinian people could soon be free from suffering.

"May there be no more loss, burned homes, or shattered dreams on Palestinian soil. Free Palestine!" he said.

3. Performing the Song News of Loss

The tribute to Palestine is increasingly felt as they perform the song News of Loss. Visuals of the Palestinian flag wave majestically on the stage screen, conveying a strong message about the importance of peace.

Feast closed their performance with the songs Politrik and Arteri, leaving a deep impression on the audience. Their performance was the perfect opening for the festival that runs until November 24.

The first day of the Joyland Festival 2024 was also enlivened by a lineup of other musicians such as St. Vincent, AIR, The SIGIT, and White Shoes & The Couples Company. In addition to music, comedy also plays an important part in this event with performances by comedians such as Musdalifah Basri, Nopek Novian, and Fico Fachriza at Shrooms Garden.
