Ferdy Tahier and His Children Release Songs Together on Indonesia's Independence Day

Kapanlagi.com - AFE Records once again brings a new breakthrough in the Indonesian music industry by releasing three singles simultaneously from their three artists. Among them are Band Om Om, 3 Tahier, and Deirda. The three songs are titled Hadeuh (Band Om Om), Baru Satu Hari (3 Tahier), and Separuh Hidupku (Deirda).

"Actually, AFE has many songs queued for release, there are hundreds. If we release one song per week, even until December it might not be finished," said Hendy Ahmad, Founder of AFE Records during a press conference in the Pejaten area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (17/8/2024).

"In addition, these three songs are still in the same line because they are all creations of Ferdy Tahier, and each song has its own unique strength and potential for success," he added.

On the same occasion, Ferdy Tahier, the vocalist and keyboardist of Band Om Om, explained that the song Hadeuh is very relatable to what most fathers experience. With a pop-retro music style and easy-to-remember lyrics, Band Om Om remains consistent in carrying themes about family and everyday problems.

1. Love at First Sight

"This song is about the daily lives of fathers who are expressing the problems in their hearts. They endure any hardship and only survive for their children," said Ferdy Tahier.

Unlike the Band Om Om, 3 Tahier presents a new single titled One Day, which has an energetic pop vibe, depicting the beauty of the early stages of falling in love. Although there are no plans to release a full album yet, 3 Tahier does not rule out the possibility of releasing an EP in the future.

"Simply put, this is about love at first sight. Just dating for one day but feeling very giddy already," explained Renaga Tahier, one of the members of 3 Tahier.

2. Very Relatable

Then Deirda, who also released a song titled Half of My Life, a song originally popularized by Titi DJ. She explained that this song is very relatable to the conditions experienced by young people today.

"Actually, there are many songs by my dad (Ferdy Tahier) that I like, but for some reason, my current situation is very relatable to the song 'Half of My Life'," revealed Deirda.

Being under the same music label, Deirda also does not rule out the possibility of continuing to explore her solo career as a singer while remaining active in the acting world. Band Om Om, 3 Tahier, and Deirda hope their songs can resonate with listeners and be accepted by all music lovers in Indonesia.
