Finalists of Rising Star Indonesia 2019 Sing Dewa 19 and Reza Artamevia Songs in the Album One Millions Stars

Kapanlagi.com - Finalists of Rising Star Indonesia 2019, who are part of the One Millions Stars project, have released a compilation album. Each of the 13 finalists sings cover songs of top musicians in Indonesia. The album contains 11 songs and is produced and released by Warner Music Indonesia.

"Yes, this is indeed our first work together as thirteen. During the quarantine, we have become like a family. We released an album, everyone worked on their respective parts, and this is an honor for us," said Managing Director of Warner Music Indonesia, Toto Widjaja, in a virtual press conference on Friday (11/9/2020).

"So, according to the concept, these songs are the ones that have been streamed millions of times. Besides that, these songs are already popular and have reached a very high level of popularity in their time," added Toto Widjaja.

1. Performed in Their Respective Places

What's interesting is that, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the recording process was done in their respective places. Nevertheless, the finalists of Rising Star Indonesia 2019 are grateful to have completed the project for the album One Million Stars.

"I'm really happy to be able to make a single together with the finalists of Rising Star Indonesia 2019. This is something new for us. This is our first work together. That's why I'm very happy," said Elvan Saragih, one of the finalists of Rising Star Indonesia 2019.

"It's unique that we recorded from a distance, because we live in different places, but we were united or collaborated together. I think that's unique," added Igan, another finalist.

2. Sung by 13 Participants

The album One Million Stars itself consists of 11 songs sung together by the 13 participants, either individually or in duets. Some of the songs include Berharap Tak Berpisah, Jangan Kau Lepas, Tapi Bukan Aku, Pergilah Kasih, Kangen, Benci untuk Mencinta, I Will Fly, Soulmate, Demi Waktu, Bahasa Kalbu, and Selow.

The album One Million Stars is already available on several digital music platforms. The response has been quite good even though it was recently released. "The total number of album streams for One Million Stars has reached over one million streams and that's just from Spotify. Hopefully, this number is just the beginning of our joy as we aim for even more," Toto concluded.
