Fortunately Helped by Vocal Director, Raissa Ramadhani Feels Challenged to Sing the OST of the Film 'LAURA'

Raissa Ramadhani revealed that the song she sings is quite personal and designed to commemorate the figure of Laura, who is known as a cheerful and spirited person in her struggle for justice.

"According to the song, it is quite personal for Laura, that was the first intention. Then throughout the process of making the song until the recording, the emotions I poured into this song are not based on my perspective," said Raissa Ramadhani when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Friday (30/8/2024).

When asked about the process of making the song and recording it, Raissa admitted that the emotions expressed in this song did not come from her personal perspective.

"But I tried to get into it, how Laura saw the situation at that time. Even though the melody of the song is quite mellow, sad, the lyrics show that Laura is a very strong woman," she said.

This effort is made to truly present Laura's feelings and perspective in every lyric and melody performed. Raissa also played a role in the creative process of the song, although not entirely.

2. Not an Easy Thing

"As for the actual lyrics, I added a little bit here and there. But overall, the song was actually quite complex, created by Mas TinTin and Clara Riva," she said.

Understanding every word and note in this song is not an easy task for Raissa. She admitted that the process was quite challenging.

"Well, that was quite challenging. Luckily we had the help of our vocal director. So before we recorded, we dissected the lyrics first, dissected the emotions that would be expressed. Thank God it went smoothly," she concluded.
