Kapanlagi.com - The alarming situation of the Covid-19 pandemic has moved the heart of senior singer Rieka Roslan. Recently, the fifty-year-old woman collaborated with Dr. Yongki to release a single titled Together We Can which was self-composed by Rieka.

This latest single is launched as an invitation from Rieka and Dr. Yongki for the public to always be enthusiastic and never give up in facing the Covid-19 pandemic. The spirit of this single can be seen from the choice of disco music genre with joyful and spirited visuals displayed through its music video. Not kidding, the choreography of the dance is created by Ari Tulang.

"My first meeting with Dr. Yongki at the Akademi Fantasi Indosiar (AFI) 2005 event was not in vain because we finally created a work that resonates with us considering Yongki's profession as a Doctor, who is at the forefront in facing this pandemic. Our intention flows to convey a message and spirit about this situation," said Rieka in a press release received by KapanLagi.com recently.

It turns out that this song also involves several prominent public figures from the country. Rieka feels grateful because many people care about the nation and are willing to help her in igniting the public's spirit to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The song Bersama Kita Bisa (Together We Can) sounds more like a prayer and a call for spirit and concern for others, when my friends from AFI also voiced their support, this collaboration feels like a reunion. In addition to my friends Dr Tompi, Yuni Shara, Iis Dahlia, Rio Febrian, Ashanty, Dewi Gita, Dira Sugandi, as well as my siblings and children who immediately agreed to voice the message of staying alert but always spirited with music arranged beautifully by Ali Akbar Sugiri. My happiness as the songwriter of this song is complete," she continued.

Meanwhile, Dr. Yongki hopes that the song can contribute by making its listeners happy. Because when someone is happy, their immune system will also be strong in fighting the spread of the coronavirus.

"Through Rieka Roslan's song creation, it is hoped that it can provide motivation and foster optimism that can drive our spirit. If we are enthusiastic and think positively, it can improve our immune system because we feel joyful," said Dr. Yongki.
