"Actually, I'm the most embarrassed when talking about it, because that was when I was in 4th grade. The math was still simple. I haven't encountered the curly patterns yet," she said.

"But what really interests me about mathematics is the satisfaction I get when I solve a problem. There's a journey to it. Problem solving through a series of processes, it's really a reality of life, isn't it?" said the Jakarta-born singer.

Janita Gabriela is a singer who often participates in various competitions. Janita is known and recorded as a participant in X-Factor 2015, The Voice 2016, and Indonesian Idol 2022.

“It's either a habit or my parents' influence to often register me for various competitions, from singing, dancing, reciting poetry, running competitions to mathematics championships. I think I inherited a competitive spirit," she explained.

3. Inheriting Parents' Second Talent

Her musical talent also runs in her blood from both of her parents. It's no wonder that Janita has a beautiful voice and a great passion for the world of music.

“My mom is a big fan of music, she doesn't always know the title or artist of a song, but her daily life is always filled with listening to music. While my dad always takes the time to teach me how to sing, his passion for music is really high," she said.

Currently, Janita is preparing to release a new work. Although she doesn't want to talk much about her work yet, Janita hopes that her work will be accepted by music lovers in the country.
