"And I also see the phenomenon of my Gen Z friends, because now I collaborate a lot with Gen Z friends, who are still teenagers, around 18, 20 years old," said Yura Yunita when met in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/11/2025).

"My friends are diverse, but right now there are many friends who are around 16, 20 years old," Yura added.

She sees how the younger generation today tends to want to try many things, which sometimes makes it difficult for them to focus on one goal.

"These Gen Z kids show the phenomenon that, 'we just want to try this, want to try something else. Want to try this, want to try something else,' everything is tried. Even in the working world, sometimes there are those who have just worked for a few months, and then move again," she said.

"So, I write this not only representing my own questions but also the questions of my friends, my close friends who relate to others, like, 'Yeah, what am I actually becoming?'" explained Yura.

"I actually made this song because the phenomenon happening around me is indeed experiencing this condition, this identity crisis, 'What am I becoming? Am I okay here or what will happen later?','" said Yura.
