Left by Ex and Married, Andmesh Kamaleng Releases the Song 'Tiba-Tiba'

Kapanlagi.com - In early 2021, Andmesh Kamaleng released his latest work by releasing a single titled Tiba-Tiba. Different from his previous melancholic songs, this time Andmesh stepped out of his comfort zone by singing a more upbeat song.

"Well, this is also a challenge from people. They said (sing) melancholic songs all the time, slow songs that are very Andmesh. So when there was this material, I decided to make it a bit more upbeat to be different from others and for people to know that Andmesh can also do this," said Andmesh Kamaleng during a virtual press conference, last Friday (26/2).

1. Inspired by Ex

The singer who came from Rising Star Indonesia also told the story behind this song, which turned out to be inspired by his ex who is now married.

"Andmesh had an ex before joining the talent search event. We agreed that Andmesh said, 'Wait for me in Kupang. Andmesh will focus on his career first, then come back to Kupang and we can continue.' When he returned to Kupang after becoming the champion, he tried to find her but there was no information about her. The last thing he knew was that she was going to get married," said Andmesh.

"Andmesh briefly thought about it, and then in 2019, when he performed at YouTube Fanfest, suddenly the story of his ex came up. So the song is as simple as that," he continued.

2. Creating with Honesty

As for the works he creates, Andmesh is never worried if there are people who don't like them. According to him, the most important thing is to create with sincerity and honesty.

"I'm not worried if there are people who don't like the works Andmesh creates. As long as Andmesh creates sincere works, songs that are very honest, whether the work is accepted or not is not a priority. The important thing is to create first," he concluded.
