Yovi New Singer, Releases Debut Single Titled 'Face the World'

Kapanlagi.com - The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has not made musicians lazy to work. One of them is Yovi, a new singer from Surabaya who finally released his debut single titled Face the World.

The song is a creation of musician Amiroez, former vocalist of Elpamas who is now active as a vocal teacher. Face the World tells a story about love, depicting someone's hope for the love they desire.

"Yovi has a good singing talent, his vocal character is suitable for pop genre songs like the song in his debut single Face the World. Usually, every new singer always faces challenges, but everything is fine. I admire his courage to try, it needs to be appreciated," said Amiroez, recently.

1. Delayed Due to Pandemic

It is undeniable that the pandemic has affected the release of his debut single. Yovi revealed that there was a setback in the release due to the pandemic compared to the initial plan.

"The concept has been in place for a long time, but because of the Covid-19 outbreak, it was delayed. But after we decided to proceed, from vocal takes, mixing, mastering to the making of the video clip, it took about 3 months," added Yovi.

2. Close to the World of Photography

Yovi himself previously delved into the field of photography. He even learned at Darwis Triadi's photography school. So, does this mean that Yovi will leave the world of photography?

"Singing is my soul's calling that has been buried for a long time. So even though I have been pursuing photography, I will not abandon it. God willing, I will pursue both," concluded the woman born on November 1, 1978.
