Arfa Marqia Joins Arfa Band, Releases Heartbreak Song Titled 'Tak Bisa Tanpamu'

Kapanlagi.com - Arfa Marqia has released his latest work titled  Tak Bisa Tanpamu. Unlike before, Arfa is not alone in the song but appears with a band concept which is then named Arfa Band.

Formed in January 2021, the band consists of Dido Ledzian (keyboardist and guitarist), Calvin (guitarist), Bebell Pormes (bassist), Febyan (drummer), and Arfa himself as the vocalist. As it turns out, they were accidentally brought together at a cafe.

"We were filling in at a cafe, the band's name was CWG and we met Arfa and often performed special performances together. After performing together several times, we felt a chemistry. We were looking for a name but couldn't find a suitable one. We wanted to combine the names but it didn't fit. Arfa itself is interpreted by us as generous and the highest level," said Bryan when met in the Pondok Gede area, East Jakarta, last weekend.

1. No Difficulty Found

Tak Bisa Tanpamu (Can't Be Without You) was created by Febyan with the help of Chandra Piescano as the music director and Drummer Stinky, Edy Darmawan. Although it is about love, the 13-year-old girl admitted that she did not encounter any difficulties during the recording.

"This song tells the story of someone who is afraid of losing. Alhamdulillah, I could immediately connect with it. I delved into the song, I have had experiences like this too. But not with a boyfriend, more afraid of losing a friend," said Arfa in the midst of making the music video.

2. Batik Concept Music Video

Their music video carries the theme of batik. This concept originated from Arfa's love for the traditional Indonesian fabric, which is also liked by the band members.

"Coincidentally, I really like batik. All the band members also like batik. So, we want to encourage young people to love batik, a genuine Indonesian product. The main goal is to preserve batik," explained Arfa Marqia.

The plan is for Arfa Band to release their own songs. "So far, there is a label that wants to sign us, but we are still considering. After this single, there will be a second song, and if there is time, we will make a religious song as well. So, we won't only release heartbreak songs," concluded Febyan.
