Lobow Releases Song 'Father' on National Father's Day

Kapanlagi.com - In commemorating national father's day, singer Lobow specifically released a music video titled Father on November 12, 2023.

According to the singer born in Ujung Pandang, Makassar, he intentionally released the song coinciding with national father's day as a dedication to fathers, especially his own father.

"For those who have experienced the loss of a father, they may connect with this song. I dedicate this song to all fathers who fight for their families around the world, happy Father's Day," said Lobow.

The Father music video tells the story of a father and his child who live in a village surrounded by limestone. Every day, he takes care of his child's life, from preparing meals, taking them to school, and playing with them.

"His child suffers from paralysis, so only the father has been accompanying and caring for them with love until the father finally passed away," said Lobow.

The filming of the Father music video took place in a small village located in Maros regency, South Sulawesi.

2. Cherish While They're Here

"The beauty of this village made us want to tell a story with the background of the local residents and the atmosphere of the village. The production of the single Father took approximately two months, starting from tracking, editing, mixing, and mastering. This song is in English to reach a wider audience, and the music genre is pop and folk," explained Lobow.

The message in this song, according to Lobow, is to respect and cherish our parents while they're still here.

"No matter what, without them, we wouldn't be here. And for those who have lost their parents, we will remember all the good things recorded in our minds and pray, may they all be at peace and always under God's protection. Amen," he concluded.
