Muse: Live in Jakarta 2025, Performing New Born - Promise to Return to Indonesia

The Muse concert at Carnaval Ancol started on time. According to the schedule, Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard opened their performance with their latest single, Unravelling.

No small talk, Muse continued their performance with the song Hysteria. The legendary bassline from Chris Wolstenholme made the Muser crowd scream hysterically, then they sang that hit Muse song with great enthusiasm.

After 18 years without holding a concert in Indonesia, Muse's presence this time successfully healed the longing of their fans. They performed 21 songs, all of which had been memorized by Indonesian Musers.

What made Muse's performance this time even more special is that they played the song New Born. This single can be said to be very rarely performed by Muse, but they showcased it in Jakarta.

Muse also performed the song Unintended, which is rarely performed live. However, the song that made Muse's name soar in the global music scene was performed specially in Indonesia, making the audience sing along in unison.

For a full 1.5 hours, Matt Bellamy and the band performed their songs without a break. This English band did not showcase many gimmicks during their concert. However, Matt greeted fans in Jakarta in Indonesian. "Hello Jakarta," he cheerfully said.

The magnificent stage design created specifically for Muse made their performance even more special. The audience was satisfied with three giant screens that allowed them to clearly see Matt and the band perform.

At the end of their performance, Muse made a promise to return to Indonesia. "Tonight you all are amazing. We will come back another time," said Dominic Howard at the end of their performance.
