Music & Culinary Collaboration, Viral Song 'Salt and Honey' Now Featured in Exclusive Album 'Honey Sweet Compilation'

"We started when we were playing in the studio, at night. So we just made Garam Madu, at that time Nay was in Surabaya, I was with Jemsi in the studio, we made Garam and Madu, I called Nay to come to Jakarta for recording," he said during a press conference in the Veteran area, Bintaro, South Jakarta recently.

This song then developed into one of the most recognized tracks before it was eventually re-released in a compilation version.

In addition to Garam and Madu, Tenxi also presents a mellow song titled Coba Lagi with Jemsii and the dreamy collaboration Attached with Anangga and Suisei. Naykilla's presence in this album also adds strength to the female vocal color.

"Why join? Well, I was invited to join this album, I’m very happy because I can join with Kak Tenxi," said Nay.

Interestingly, the song Garam dan Madu was also remixed into an EDM version by a cute AI character named Beboli. The new arrangement brings an energetic vibe that gives this song a new dimension, without losing its emotional feel. This album is proof that music can continue to evolve through cross-generational creativity.

Not only Tenxi and Nay, young singer Rizwan Fadilah aka Njan also contributed two songs to this album. 

"The first song is Tak Lagi Sama, the second song is Tanpa Bicara. The first song is made by my brother, my own version. The second song was made together, the process took about a month, two months, maybe three months," said Njan. 

Her mellow voice adds a warm impression to the overall album. A lineup of female singers like Dewanda Pratama also contributes through the songs "Datang Untuk Bertamu" and "Ingin Jadi Cintamu." As a finalist of Indonesian Idol, Dewanda's performance in delivering the emotive lyrics is one of the highlights of this album. Meanwhile, folk music fans can enjoy the work of Batas Senja, which presents two reflective songs full of meaning.
