Celebrate Don's 3rd Birthday, Jessica Iskandar Reveals the Development of Her Son Who is Now Talkative and Full of Imagination

Jessica Iskandar and Vincent Verhaag looked happy while celebrating the 3rd birthday of their second son, Don Azaiah Jan Verhaag. This special moment was celebrated amidst their busy lives as parents of three children. They both shared stories about Don's development, who is now becoming more active.

"As for Don, his development is like this, when he is outside he is talk active, strong, and brave. But with us, he is shy and spoiled," Jessica said when met in the Jalan Jendral Sudirman area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/5/2025). Here are the details.

As a three-year-old child, Don is still in the trial and error phase. Jessica and Vincent agreed to continue providing support and positive teaching in his daily life. "So, yes, a child just turning 3 is still in trial and error. So we, as parents, just support him, nurture him, and teach him good things," said Jessica.

Don also shows love for his siblings. Jessica mentioned that Don is very enthusiastic about his birthday, and even the day before, he already seemed excited.

"So far everything is good. Don is also affectionate with his older sibling, and with his younger sibling, he is very excited today for his birthday, since this morning, this afternoon, and even yesterday, he has been eager," she added.

This year, Don's birthday carries the theme of Fireman, which was chosen directly by Don. Vincent revealed that Don is indeed interested in things related to large vehicles like fire trucks. "He really likes fire trucks and then excavators, basically anything big, mega, and suddenly he likes firetrucks, fireman. So he chose it himself," said Vincent.

Don's curiosity is also high. He often throws various questions at his parents, impressing them with his developing communication skills.

"Yes, he asks everything, what's that? Why is it like this? Wait a minute, Don wants this first. So there are so many vocabulary words coming out of Don's mouth. As parents, we are often surprised, 'huh, he already talks like this?','" said Jessica.

Vincent even added that now Don can speak fluently in two-way conversations. "A 3-year-old child can already have two-way conversations, so they can communicate," he concluded.
