Rieta Amilia once again shows her support for the Indonesian culinary world through her role as a judge at the ICA Chef Expo 2025. The event, held at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, will take place from May 6 to May 9, 2025.

The presence of the mother of Nagita Slavina on Wednesday (5/7/2025) also marks her involvement in promoting the traditional foods of the homeland. In this event organized by the Indonesia Chef Association (ICA), she stated that she is ready to taste the dishes prepared by the competition participants.

"Yes, I will try the food (from the competition participants)," said Rieta Amilia during the opening of the ICA Chef Expo in the Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/7/2025). Here are the details.

This year's ICA Chef Expo carries the theme of nutrition education through the B2SA menu (Diverse, Nutritious, Balanced, and Safe), which is the flagship program of the National Food Agency. In addition, various exciting activities such as cake decoration competitions and live cooking classes also enliven the event.

"All competition themes and cooking demos at the ICA Chef Expo focus on Indonesian Cuisine. The commitment to continue preserving Indonesian cuisine is a strong motivation for ICA to keep holding the Chef Expo event year after year," said Chef Santo, President of the Indonesia Chef Association.

For four days, this competition features eight categories divided for professionals and juniors. One of the most anticipated is the Black Box Culinary Challenge competition with a prize of Rp 40 million.

The woman affectionately called Mama Rieta will evaluate alongside Desiree Tarigan. The evaluation will be based on taste, presentation, and the preparation process of the dishes presented by the participants. "(The evaluation) includes taste, decoration, preparation, and cleanliness as usual," said Rieta Amalia.

As a judge, Rieta did not prepare specifically for this major event. Instead, she hopes that through this activity, the spirit of loving Indonesian cuisine can be instilled from an early age. "I hope Indonesian culinary food remains number one in the world," she expressed.

This annual event is also attended by several renowned chefs and culinary figures from the homeland. Some of the names that enliven the event include Chef Juna, Chef Chandra, Bunda Sisca Soewitomo, Chef Axhiang, Chef Mutho, and Chef Yongki Gunawan.

The Head of the National Food Agency, Arief Prasetyo Adi, welcomed this event as a tangible effort to educate the public. According to him, this is a strategic step in reintroducing the wealth of local Indonesian food ingredients.

"This also serves as an educational moment for the wider community on how Indonesian cuisine can develop broadly, and that the available food sources are local food sources," he stated.
