No Concert Schedule, Iman J-Rocks Launches Solo Work Amidst Pandemic

Kapanlagi.com - Just like other musicians, J-Rocks' concert schedule is also empty during the Covid-19 pandemic. Realizing this, Iman Taufik Rachman, the vocalist and guitarist, chose to release a solo work.

As we know, last April, Iman J-Rocks officially released his debut solo instrumental music titled The Way of Life. "I made it a long time ago, in 2008. Because I prioritize J-Rocks, I kept it and I think now is the right time to release it," said Iman on Monday (26/10).

1. Music as Therapy

Iman chose to release instrumental music in the midst of the pandemic for a reason. He hopes that with the music The Way of Life, it can enhance the immunity of the listeners.

"It can be said as music therapy. Because the goal is to help the listeners improve their immunity," said Iman.

2. Second Single Release

Not long after releasing The Way of Life, Iman launched another solo work in May 2020. For his second single, Iman chose to release vocal music.

"The second single is not instrumental, but it has vocals and I sang it myself, titled Diving into the Heart," said Iman.

3. Old Material from Middle School

According to Iman, his second solo single is also an old material. In fact, it holds special memories because he created the song when he was still in middle school.

"It's the first song I wrote when I was 13 years old, in 7th grade, and there are no changes in the lyrics, only the arrangement," he added.
