Noah Releases a Cover of Chrisye's Hit Single, "Kala Cinta Menggoda," on Radio First

Kapanlagi.com - Today is a special moment for Noah's fans, as their favorite legendary group has released a new song titled Kala Cinta Menggoda (When Love Tempts). The song, originally performed by Chrisye, is still one of the timeless old songs that are enjoyable to listen to and often sung.

First released in 1997, the original version of this song became a hit and received many awards. Building on that success, Noah has re-released the song composed by Guruh Sukarno Putra to keep it relevant with the times.

 

 

1. Bringing a Different Concept

Different from the original version, Noah performs this song with a different version. About this, Ariel further revealed.

"The song Kala Cinta Menggoda, we made a different concept from the original version, because in my opinion, the lyrics can be made with two different feelings. So, we made the song more fresh because the song has been a hit before. Usually, songs that have been hits are difficult to replicate the success if in the same format," said Ariel. "If previously this song was packaged in a more cheerful way, this time we made it sadder."

In addition to presenting a different concept, Noah also collaborated with Upie Guava who acted as the director to create the music video for the song Kala Cinta Menggoda with an unusual concept. The entire process of producing the music video was done virtually without physically meeting and was done at their respective homes. Although Ariel, Lukman, and David were in different locations, the visual output produced was still great and different from Noah's other music videos. The music video is planned to be released in early July.
