In an online press conference on Wednesday (10/6), Arash and Raissa shared the process of making the song If U Could See Me Cryin In My Room. The song tells the story of a toxic relationship.
"The production process only took about five to six hours using a piano, and it was only recorded with a cellphone. Actually, the whole process only took two weeks," said Arash Buana.
"It's something both of us have experienced. In my opinion, we knew this relationship wouldn't last, but at the same time, I still love our partner, something like that," he continued.
Furthermore, Arash admitted that he was surprised when he heard his voice and Raissa's voice blending together in this song. Previously, Arash had never collaborated with Raissa at all.
"What surprised me was that I had never duet or collaborated with her before. I was surprised to find out that our voices blend, harmonize. And it's also our shared experience," he said.
Raissa and Arash also mentioned that the song was created directly by themselves and Arash Buana. They are grateful that the song is finally finished and ready to be released on June 12.
