Dul Jaelani Ready to Release Single with Giring Ganesha

Kapanlagi.com - After releasing a single with Fadly PADI some time ago, Dul Jaelani is ready to release his latest single with another top singer. This time he collaborated with former Nidji vocalist, Giring Ganesha. The song titled 'Burung Gereja' is set to be released next month.

"Yesterday, Alhamdulillah, I finished recording with Bang Pay (BIP). Alhamdulillah, there's a new project featuring Giring (Ex-Nidji) titled 'Burung Gereja'. Insha Allah, it will be released next month, if there are no obstacles," said Dul Jaelani when met in South Jakarta, Tuesday (16/6).

1. A Song Written Long Ago

Dul Jaelani revealed that he had created this song back in 2016. However, it could only be released this year because he couldn't perform the song himself.

"The song that I wrote in 2016, I just held onto it until now because I couldn't sing it. I think it's a very good song for me personally. It's like a precise bullet that requires a precise weapon. Now I have found the weapon," said the youngest son of Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty.

2. Reason for Inviting Giring

The reason he couldn't perform this song is because it has a higher vocal range. Previously, he also offered the song to Ari Lasso. But in the end, it fell to Giring Ganesha.

"Because my vocal range is limited, the highest I can sing is Ari Lasso's 'Hampa.' If this song is higher than Ari Lasso's 'Hampa,' I can't sing it and luckily Giring can. Initially, it was supposed to be Ari Lasso, but Mr. Ari was very busy. So, I couldn't just stay silent," he explained.

3. Sangat Pas Dibawakan Giring

Diketahui Dul Jaelani, Giring Ganesha juga tengah mencari sebuah lagu pada saat itu. Tanpa pikir panjang, Ia langsung mengajaknya. Ternyata setelah mendengarkan lagunya, Giring Ganesha langsung tertarik dan sangat pas membawakannya.

"Waktu itu ada acara Padi Reborn gitu aku main (manggung) di situ. Ada Om Ari, ada Kak Giring. Di backstage itu ada desas-desus Giring lagi cari lagu,” jelasnya.

“Kebetulan aku punya lagu yang nggak bisa aku nyanyiin, langsung aku ajak samperin. Alhamdulillah kak Giring tertarik dan main ke rumahku udah lama banget, kita ngejam dan kak Giring pas banget bawainnya," pungkas Dul Jaelani.
