Noah Says Many Challenges in 'Gempita 2024' Concert, Gives Best Performance Before Hiatus

Kapanlagi.com - Hundreds of people gathered at the Gempita 2024 concert held by SCTV to welcome the new year. Not inferior to previous years, this time the musicians who performed came from various genres, such as Noah, The Changcuters, Anna Zanet, and the king of Indonesian dangdut, Rhoma Irama.

When the event started at 9:00 PM, rain began to fall moderately. However, it did not discourage the audience who were at Pantai Carnaval Ancol from leaving the event location.

True enough, after two songs from Noah and The Changcuters who collaborated to open the event that night, the rain stopped. Seeing the increasingly enthusiastic audience, Noah and The Changcuters were also fueled by their spirits.

"It was fun, luckily it didn't rain heavily. I'm happy to see the audience not leaving," said Lukman, Noah's guitarist, on Sunday (31/12/2023).

For Ariel CS, the Gempita 2024 concert this year has many challenges. One of them is related to song arrangements, because this time they have collaborated a lot.

"This year's Gempita has a lot of collaborations, maybe the most this year, many challenges, and Changcuters changing songs, and the most difficult is the song arrangement by bang haji Rhoma Irama, we changed the arrangement twice, it's quite challenging creatively," said Ariel, the vocalist.

In addition, the Gempita 2024 concert is also the closing concert for Noah this year. Because Noah will take a break from the Indonesian music stage.

2. Returning to Ancol

"Last year we were at Emtek, now we're back at Ancol like a few years ago, we often played with SCTV so there's nostalgia, and this will be our last time playing here before taking a break," said Ariel.

Therefore, Noah ensures that the Gempita 2024 music concert will present the best performance. Moreover, Noah has become a regular musician chosen by SCTV to close the year.

"We try to change the arrangement of bang haji's song through our collaboration, we prepare a lot of changes in terms of music," David concluded.
