Not Only Releasing the Latest EP Titled 'Seruni', Music Group Daun Jatuh Announces New Formation

Kapanlagi.com - Music group Daun Jatuh has just released their latest EP or mini album titled 'Seruni'. On this occasion, Daun Jatuh not only introduces their mini album, but also announces a new formation.

Previously, Daun Jatuh had six members. But now, there are only two members left, namely Verrel Alvirizky on vocals and Timothy GunungTua on guitar.

"In conjunction with this EP, we officially announce that we are now only two, no longer six," said Verrel Alvirizky when met at Warner Music in Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (25/10).

"This Falling Leaf was shaped by both of us but became six during the process, there was natural selection and finally it's just the two of us again," he continued.

In addition, regarding the album, Timothy explained that Seruni is a continuation of their previous work titled Seroja. This time, Daun Jatuh chose Petra Sihombing to produce their latest work.

"This is a continuation of our work last year, which was Seroja. In the previous album, we looked for heavy songs, in this album we tried to find light stories," Timothy said in the same occasion.

2. Visiting Bali

"We chose Petra Sihombing as our producer for this EP, he accompanied us in writing this EP, we visited Petra in Bali. When we met, we thought we had to prepare many songs but when we met, he said 'if you're here for a week without any songs, it's okay' so relaxed," added Verrel.

The mini album 'Seruni' is planned to be officially released on October 27, 2023 under the Warner Music Indonesia label.
