One Year Vacuum, Fiersa Besari Presents 'Menuju Istirahat' Concert

Kapanlagi.com - Musician Fiersa Besari decided to take a one-year break from the music stage. As a farewell event, Fiersa held a concert for the last time.

The 'Menuju Istirahat' concert held at Annex Building, Thamrin, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (11/1) night was Fiersa Besari's final performance on stage before a one-year hiatus. He wanted to dedicate memories to his fans.

"Originally, I just wanted to take a break, but my friends here advised me not to leave without leaving any memories," he said during a press conference before the concert.

1. As a Memento

His last performance is acknowledged to be different from before. This will be a farewell event to be remembered, according to him.

"Maybe it's more like a memento. Something to remember before taking a break. I miss singing songs that are rarely performed live. Finally, they will be performed tonight," said Fiersa Besari.

"Usually, people who watch me stand up, jump around, their worries only at the beginning, but as it goes on, they start sweating. But today, maybe the essence that people will get is not singing together but sitting down, listening," he continued.

2. Still Nervous

According to the man who is familiarly known as 'Bung', every performance makes him a little nervous. Moreover, this concert with a total of 20 songs to be performed will be different from usual.

"If I'm not nervous, then I'm not alive. Haha. Yes, I'm nervous. Every stage always makes me nervous. Usually, in the first five minutes, I have to read the situation and the audience," said Fiersa.

"I'm afraid of forgetting the lyrics, I'm forgetful. Haha. Sometimes I forget, usually I immediately give the microphone to the audience, right? But now everyone is sitting, so I'm confused," he concluded.
