Post Punk Band Sukatani Shares Vegetables on the 'Bukan Main' Stage - Vincent Rompies Joins Crowd Surfing with the Audience

Kapanlagi.com - The post-punk band from Purbalingga, Sukatani, performed energetically on the second day of the "Bukan Main: Go, Play, Do!" event organized by Vindes Spot at Senayan Park, Central Jakarta, on October 27, 2024. Sukatani's presence was one of the most anticipated performances by the audience.

The duo, consisting of Ovi aka Twister Angel and Al or Electroguy, took the stage for "Main Lagu" precisely at 6:30 PM WIB. They opened their act with their signature style, successfully heating up the stage atmosphere.

Sukatani's performance began with the appearance of their guitarist, followed by the vocalist who brought a shopping bag filled with vegetables such as mustard greens and water spinach. The vegetables were then distributed to the audience.

This band rocked the stage with their opening song titled “Sukatani,” which is also the first track on their debut album, Gelap Gempita.

"Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. We come from Purbalingga regency, once again we thank Vindes and Bukan Main," said Al from the stage.

Sukatani performed several songs from the Gelap Gempita album, including "Jangan Bicara Solidaritas," "Alas Wirasaba," "Gelap Gempita" to "Semakin Tua Semakin Punk." Each song was performed with full energy, igniting the spirit of the audience who sang along.

2. Crowd Surfing

An interesting moment occurred when they sang the song "Semakin Tua Semakin Punk." Vincent Rompies, who was on the side of the stage, looked like he was really enjoying this song. Without hesitation, Ovi the vocalist invited him to sing along, and Vincent finally joined in crowd surfing with the audience.

Not only Sukatani, the second day of Bukan Main: Go, Play, Do! also featured other cool musicians, such as Morfem, ALI, BAALE, and Oom Leo Berkaraoke. Their presence made this event even more colorful and lively with the audience.

In addition to music, Bukan Main also presented various other interesting activities, such as Skateboarding (Professional Skateboard), Tandem (Art Decorated Bicycle Show), Music Performance, and MinimArtKet (Creative Market) which added excitement to the event.
