Presenting Catchy Music, B.O.H FM and Marcell Play Their Collaboration Song Before Official Release

Kapanlagi.com - B.O.H. FM, a duo consisting of Winky Wiryawan and his wife Kenes Andari, will release their second single, Pesona Palsu, on June 21, 2024. Collaborating with Marcell, Winky and Kenes played the song with an 80s-90s vibe for the first time at the Brightspot event in Jakarta on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Their performance was enthusiastically welcomed and highly anticipated. Interestingly, the song that was played for the first time managed to immerse the audience in the music and rhythm.

"We see that in 2024, everything is back to the 80s, back to the 90s, so it suddenly felt right for us to release a song from the 80s, 90s, because the Gen-Z and younger kids are starting to explore music from that era," said Kenes Andari when asked about the music that B.O.H. FM brings.

Talking about collaborating with Marcell on the song Pesona Palsu, Winky Wiryawan shared that it was a plan he and Kenes had made a long time ago, long before they planned to release the song.

"Actually, long before we thought of making a single, we had a conversation. Someday, if we have to make an 80s or 90s song, we immediately thought of Marcell, really, Alhamdulillah we got him," said Wingky.

Furthermore, Kenes continues, those who are of the same generation and live in the same wave of 80-90s music, make them a direct match and work on Pesona Palsu very easily and smoothly.

"One more fun fact why I chose Marcell, he is a musician who can be a 'chameleon'. Because I used to follow him when he was the drummer for Puppen," Winky said while laughing.

Regarding Marcell's joining in the song Pesona Palsu, the singer of Firasat mentioned that this project is something he has been looking forward to for a long time. Even after releasing Pesona Palsu together with B.O.H FM, Marcell already guessed that they would create something together again.

"When I received the offer to join this song project, which I felt was finally fulfilled, because I have always wanted to make history with them," he said.

"After this, I am sure there will be something that I don't know yet, but I am already confident, it is planned here," said Marcell, which was enthusiastically welcomed by Winky. "Because he is the one we are aiming for the most," replied Winky.
