Ramadan Must Still Be Faced Amidst the Pandemic, Music Group 'Mukamu' Launches Mini Album

Kapanlagi.com - To ward off boredom during the pandemic, four music activists and Indie vocalists created a mini album of music that was created spontaneously, titled 'Sambut Bulan Suci Ramadan' (Welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan). The Indie Ramadan mini album was launched through the social media channel, 'Musik Aku dan Kamu' (Mukamu), at the beginning of Ramadan, April 3, 2022.

In the mini album, the four of them presented four new Indie songs with a Ramadan theme. According to Tanti Hundoro, one of the creators of the mini album, the Sambut Bulan Suci Ramadan mini album was created spontaneously due to the pandemic situation over the past few months.

“The pandemic has forced many of us to work from home. This situation can be quite tedious, so because we often gather in front of our musical instruments at home, we spontaneously created several songs that turned out to be cozy and easy listening, according to some of our musician friends, that can be enjoyed by many people during Ramadan”, said Tanti Hundoro in a written statement on Tuesday (5/4).

The mini album Sambut Bulan Suci Ramadan features four songs that were created spontaneously and on the spot. Starting from the boredom of the pandemic, four people consisting of music activists and vocalist Mukamu shared messages when they were stuck at home.

Tanti Hudoro, who is a vocal teacher and has won several choir competitions abroad, was spontaneously appointed as the songwriter. Meanwhile, advertising communication practitioner Agung Irfan was given the impromptu task of writing lyrics.

In terms of developing audio-visual products, the skilled hands of millennial communication student Bagasaji Narendrojati, who also has a hobby of processing vocals, played a role in documenting the entire song-making process. Meanwhile, the sound was entrusted to musician Freddy Lengkong who has experience in sound engineering.

In the Music Aku dan Kamu channel, the four music activists and vocalists present 4 Ramadan songs, namely Marhaban Ya Ramadan, Puasa Puasa Puasa, Jangan Lupa Sahur, and Lebaran Telah Tiba.

"Mukamu is sometimes assisted by friends who want to collaborate.
From trying to ward off boredom, it turns out that creating impromptu song content makes us more motivated to be consistent, productive, and creative," he said.

"The first content launch on the Youtube channel was done in June 2020, and until now Mukamu has produced almost 100 basic songs," he added.
