Release of EP Titled 'Lesson', Aziz Hedra Admits It Feels Like Releasing Debut Single

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully releasing three singles, Aziz Hedra summarizes his work through an EP titled Lesson. This EP contains five songs and tells the story of his life.

Aziz Hedra, or commonly known as Adul, admits that he never expected to be at this point. For him, releasing an EP feels the same as releasing his debut single titled Somebody's Pleasure under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI).

"What does it feel like to release the first single, because this is the first EP. I don't know what it feels like. Because sometimes the shock is still there. Always getting shocked," said Aziz Hedra at the release party for his mini album, in Menteng, Central Jakarta, not long ago.

1. The Bitterness of Love, Friendship, and Life

As previously mentioned, Aziz Hedra poured all his feelings into this EP. He believes that what he feels can be the same as others, only the way and medium are different.

"This EP tells the bitterness of love, friendship, and life. It is indeed a personal experience, and I want to write that song so that people who have experienced it know that they are not alone," added Aziz Hedra.

Initially, Aziz admitted that he was somewhat afraid to release this EP. Because he felt that the stories written in this EP were too deep and upfront. Finally, he chose to write all the songs in English.

2. Deep Enough

"I was somewhat afraid to release it because the story is quite deep, especially Devastated. I didn't dare to tell it in Indonesian because it's more upfront. Moreover, I'm still new to this industry, not confident enough," he explained.

Aziz Hedra's EP consists of five songs, namely three songs that he has released Somebody's Pleasure, No More You & I, and Issa Goodbye. Meanwhile, the two new songs he presented are Devasted and No More You and I.

"I am grateful for the presence of this EP, hopefully, it can be accepted," Aziz Hedra hoped.
