Sheila On 7 Presents a Rare Concept 'Side B' at Pestapora 2025 Stage

Kapanlagi.com - The performance of Sheila On 7 was one of the most anticipated moments on the second day of Pestapora 2025, Saturday (6/9/2025). Performing on the Pestapora Stage, Sheila On 7 delivered a very different and special treat for the Pestapora audience.

Instead of singing their hit songs, Duta and the band actually presented a "Side B" format, a concept that refers to non-single songs that they rarely perform on big stages.

1. Opened with a Stumble

This show seemed like a treasure for loyal fans, opened with the song "Tertatih" from their first album, which instantly surprised and excited the audience.

"As we know, with all the circumstances present, what is certain is that Sheila On 7 came here wanting to have fun with you. Stitching a little for joy, but truly meaningful forever," said Duta from the stage.

2. Thanking Pestapora

Duta also expressed his gratitude to Pestapora for giving Sheila On 7 the freedom to perform this unique concept. For him, a stage with such freedom is a rare thing.

“Thank you everyone, applause for Pestapora 2025. Thank you, thank you so much for having Sheila On 7," said Duta.

3. Songs Performed

The surprises continued throughout their performance. Songs like "Selamat Datang" and "Berai" successfully revived the more personal musicality of Sheila On 7. The highlight was an unexpected medley of the song "Terlalu Singkat" with the legendary Oasis hit, "Don't Look Back in Anger," which was met with loud cheers from the audience.

Although not all songs were familiar to the casual listeners, the atmosphere still felt magical. There were many moments when the audience chose to listen intently, proving that the works of "Side B" by Sheila On 7 have deep quality.

4. For Those Starting Over

As the performance was nearing its end, Duta interacted with the audience again before performing one of their hit songs from the "Side B" set list. Sheila On7's performance was finally closed with a series of other songs such as "The Amazing Morning" and "Mother Linda".

"It doesn't feel like it, time flies and we're already at this hour. The next song is for you who have come from far away and need to start over again," he concluded.
