Singer Yotari Releases Latest EP, 'Galeri Hati' Becomes the Main Single

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully collaborating with Suara Kayu on two singles, 'Milikku Bukan Milikmu' and 'Cara Bahagia', singer and songwriter from Surabaya, Yotari Kezia, has released an EP or mini album titled 'Apa Kabarmu?'. In this album, the song 'Galeri Hati' was chosen as the main single.

Yotari feels grateful that the mini album 'Apa Kabarmu?' has finally been released. According to her, it has been a long-awaited moment since she started her career in the Indonesian music industry in 2013. There are five songs in the album 'Apa Kabarmu?' which were mostly written by Yotari herself.

"Four out of five songs in this EP were written by Yotari herself and have various music genres that include the sound of guitar, which is Yotari's favorite instrument," said Yotari on Friday (18/6/2021).

1. Story About the Difficulty of Forgetting

In the album Apa Kabarmu?, Yotari chose the song Galeri Hati as her flagship song. According to her, the song Galeri Hati was written to express her feelings about what she experienced a few years ago.

"Galeri Hati tells the story of the difficulty of forgetting memories with someone who once filled our lives with both joy and sorrow," said Yotari.

2. Produced by Famous Musicians

This mini album was produced by Dimas Wibisana, who previously worked on several Trisouls songs (co-produced Cinta Keadaan, Risalah Hati), Mirriam Eka, and Elvan Saragih (Angkasa). As for the music, it is wrapped in RnB melodies that are still dominated by acoustic guitar sounds.

"Yotari hopes that this EP will be a sweet opening work for Yotari's journey in the music industry," Yotari concluded.
