Slank Celebrates 42 Years with Concert in Bali, Donates Profits for Sumatra

The event starts at 14:00 WITA with performances from local bands, before Slank takes the stage as the main act from 21:30 to 23:30 WITA. Bimbim explained the reasons why Bali was chosen as the location for this year's celebration. According to him, Bali has become like a second home for Slank. However, what is most special about this concert is its social mission titled 'Dare to Be Different - Care for Sumatra'.

"While on vacation, we might want to contemplate there. And importantly, all the proceeds from tomorrow's birthday ticket sales will be donated to disaster victims in Sumatra," Bimbim explained to KapanLagi.com on Thursday (25/12/2025).

2. Involving a Series of Bands to Perform at the Concert

This concert also involves a lineup of bands with strong characters, such as Rebellion Rose, FSTVLST, and Lolot. Bimbim stated that the selection of these opening bands was not without reason. He considers them to be bands that are deserving and have genres that align with the spirit of Slank.

"They are some bands that really fit and are of the same genre as Slank. Rebel-rebels, indeed," said Bimbim.

3. Personal Item Auction Action

Slank's vocalist, Kaka, will also auction his beloved Vespa to help disaster victims. This Vespa is a special edition electric motorbike for Slank's 40th anniversary. The proceeds from the auction of the Vespa and other personal items from Slank's members will be combined to be donated to disaster victims in Sumatra.

4. New Album Release

Slank will perform around 25 hit songs and introduce material from their new album set to release in January 2026. A new single will also be released on the night of the concert. Bim Bim, Slank's drummer, expressed his gratitude to be able to entertain Slankers in Bali again, which is considered their "second home".

The concert is expected to be attended by around 10,000 spectators, with ticket prices set at Rp 75,000 per person. Previously, Slank also held free concerts in Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya.
