SOUNDSFEST 2025 Brings 68 Famous Artists, Held Next Week

Kapanlagi.com - SOUNDSFEST, the annual music festival from Bekasi, will feature 68 performers at its first event in Jakarta. SOUNDSFEST will bring a lineup of national and international musicians to Gambir Expo, from Friday to Sunday, May 23-25, 2025. Additionally, this time SOUNDSFEST is collaborating with Merch-Making Market (MMM) to create a music merchandise ecosystem.

SOUNDSFEST is the largest annual music festival in Bekasi, organized by PT Mapspro Group Indonesia since 2016. The festival emerged in response to the limited presence of music festivals in Bekasi. After nine years entertaining audiences in Bekasi, this year SOUNDSFEST is moving to Jakarta for the first time on a larger scale.

"This event is an achievement for SOUNDSFEST. Not only does it extend the duration from two to three days and relocate to Jakarta, but SOUNDSFEST is also bringing three international performers for the first time. We hope that with the experience gained from previous years in Bekasi, we can present a more massive SOUNDSFEST in Jakarta this year," explained Pulung Agustanto, Chairman of PT Mapspro Group Indonesia.

1. Various Other Activities

SOUNDSFEST Jakarta 2025 will be supported by four main stages and three supporting areas. Starting from the Community Area which contains various activities led by different communities, including an arts community that holds live murals, creative workshops, and art exhibitions; as well as a stand-up comedy community. The Games Area features various exciting games. There is also an F&B Area and Marketplace showcasing various large and local tenants.

"We have prepared a lineup of main performers, two of which present a very special nostalgic concept, namely Hybrid Theory, a tribute band for Linkin Park from Portugal. With a formation, music, and even the vocalist's voice that closely resembles the late Chester Bennington, the lead vocalist of Linkin Park. Then there’s Glenn Fredly live by the Bakuucakar: Holographic Performance. A hologram performance of Sang Merpati Putih presented with computer-generated imagery (CGI) technology," added Ryan Novianto, Programme Director of SOUNDSFEST.

2. Top Artists

SOUNDSFEST Jakarta 2025 features three international performers, including Phum Viphurit, Panjabi MC, and Hybrid Theory. Then the national main acts are Bernadya, Dewa 19 featuring Ello, Kahitna, and also Glenn Fredly live by the Bakuucakar: Holographic Performance.
