Rossa is not only preparing a grand concert but also conveying an important message about caring for the environment. At a press conference in Plaza Indonesia on Monday (28/4/2025), she revealed that her concert will carry an environmentally friendly concept.
"Actually, I have been thinking about this for a long time, but I do not label myself as an environmental activist. I just want to do something to save the environment," said Rossa.
As a concrete step, this concert will involve NGOs and waste management companies to minimize waste. Rossa emphasizes the importance of proper waste management.
"We’re not saying we are anti-trash, but rather how to process it. At this concert, there will be separated trash bins, hopefully minimizing waste," he added.
In addition, this concert will also hold a food and beverage bazaar that supports the minimal waste movement. Rossa hopes this small step can have a big impact. "Hopefully, I can invite more people to join in taking care of the environment," she said hopefully.
This Indonesian pop queen also pays special attention to small details, such as the design of the trash bin covers to attract the audience's attention.
"I think about small things like that, how people can become more aware to throw trash in the right place," she explained.
