In an interview, Once revealed that he has known Alffy Rev for quite some time. The two have been involved in various projects that promote the theme of love for the homeland, one of which is the National Festival.

“My introduction to Alffy has been quite long. Because I, along with PAPPRI, often organize concerts at universities that carry the spirit of love for the homeland. We often invite Alffy to perform and also to be a speaker along with other friends," Once said.

The National Festival, according to Once, is an event that brings together artists, musicians, and academics such as rectors, lecturers, and students in one festival that evokes a sense of unity and nationalism.

“Alffy is a young musician who has a deep love for Indonesia," added Once. This is one of the strong reasons why Once is enthusiastic when Alffy invited him to be involved in the project *The Guardian of Nusantara*.

Once also tells the creative process behind this collaboration. He and Alffy spent several days for workshops and recording in Bali, before continuing to the music video production process that took several weeks.

"We did workshops and recording in Bali for a few days and then shot the music video in the following weeks," said Once.
