The Jansen's First Experience Performing at Soundfest 2024, Surprised by the Hot Weather in Bekasi

Kapanlagi.com - The band The Jansen shared their experience performing at Soundfest 2024 held at the parking ground of Summarecon Mall Bekasi. They performed around 2 PM WIB and successfully delivered their best performance in front of an enthusiastic audience. The band, consisting of Bani and Adji, acknowledged that the hot weather did not dampen their spirits.

"It's really hot, for real. If it's the first time at Soundfest, this is already the umpteenth time in Bekasi," said Adji at Summarecon Mall Bekasi, Saturday (27/7/2024).

"This is the hottest, and it's the first time we played in the afternoon and it was really crowded," added Bani.

He felt a difference compared to their previous performance in Bekasi, which was not as hot. They admitted that the hot temperature was indeed a challenge in itself.

"We used to go to Bekasi but it wasn't too hot, today is really hot. Plus, the crowd was really energetic, so it made it even hotter exchanging energy," said Bani.

1. Anticipating the Heat

To anticipate the hot weather, Adji and Bani have their own ways. The most important thing is that they drink plenty of water.

"Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration," said Adji.

"Yeah, the way is to drink water, exercise a lot, but in reality, earlier on stage I was also out of breath. But because we enjoyed exchanging energy, it didn't feel too much," added Bani.

2. Meeting Old Friends

Despite facing hot weather, the audience's euphoria remains high. Bani feels like he's meeting old friends. "Actually, it feels like meeting friends. We cross paths, even though they watched us on stage, we exchanged greetings while we played music and they played music," said Adji.

Bani also expressed his admiration for the audience who remained loyal despite the hot weather. "I respect them (even though it's hot), thank you very much for coming and staying despite the heat," said Bani.
