Malaecca Releases Single 'No Love'll Bloom', Depicts Turbulent and Doubtful Feelings About Relationships

Kapanlagi.com - Young soloist, Malaecca officially enters the Indonesian music industry with her debut single titled No Love'll Bloom. Written by herself, the song tells the story of the complexities of a romantic relationship.

This was shared by Malaecca during a press conference held in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (24/8/2024). Admitting to writing based on her personal experiences, the song No Love'll Bloom reflects a sense of pessimism towards an incoming relationship.

"I wrote this last October, almost at midnight. The reason is that I was in a moment where I couldn't reciprocate someone's feelings towards me, and it's because I was too troubled by my own thoughts, my shortcomings, and I felt the relationship couldn't go anywhere, so letting go seemed like the best option," said Malaecca.

1. Quite a Perfectionist

As her debut project, Malaecca stated that she is quite a perfectionist in completing the single No Love'll Bloom. In total, Malaecca had to do dozens of revisions so that the song could truly be enjoyed by her listeners.

"From the beginning I created it until now, the total revisions are more than 50 times, including changes to the lyrics, melody, I changed the instrumentals with the help of the music director," she said.

"Yes, it's called a song; it has to feel right because I consider my works to at least reach the phase where I feel it's worthy of being listened to by others," Malecca added then.

2. Not Just Making Music

Not without reason, for Malaecca, making music is not just about expressing grievances through published works. More than that, she wishes that the songs released as a discography in the music industry can resonate and touch the feelings of many people.

"Because I feel like I've been singing since I was little, every time someone says, 'your song is good', 'I can relate to it', it produces an incredibly great happiness. That becomes my motivation in making music. So I want many people to listen to my songs and relate to them," she concluded.
