This Young Singer Campaigns for Handwashing to Prevent Corona Through a Song

Kapanlagi.com - The spread of the Covid-19 virus (Corona) in Indonesia is increasing. The latest data shows that there are 134 confirmed cases of Corona virus, 8 recovered, and 5 deaths in Indonesia. However, this doesn't mean that we should panic about this situation.

Various measures can be taken to anticipate this virus. One of the campaigns to prevent Corona that is promoted by the Government is to always wash hands before and after activities.

1. Campaigning with Hand Washing

Child singer Faiha also participated in campaigning for hand washing to the public. Through a song titled Hand Washing, Faiha tries to campaign while entertaining the community, especially young children.

"Now people are panicking about the coronavirus. Even though the coronavirus can be prevented by regularly washing hands. With this song, we want to campaign to the public to wash hands regularly and maintain cleanliness," said Bombom, Faiha's producer, when met in Jakarta recently.

2. Use the Song Cari Pokemon

The Hand Washing song uses the melody of the song Cari Pokemon previously popularized by Faiha. With that melody, Bombom believes that the message conveyed will be easily accepted by children because the melody is already ingrained in their ears.

"Children's songs don't have to be complicated in delivering the message. So that it can be easily understood by anyone. Like, you have to wash your hands before eating, after playing with friends wash hands. The education is there," continued Bombom.

The Hand Washing song has been released on the Sani Music Indonesia YouTube channel since March 10th. Until now, the song has been watched by 14 thousand viewers. Faiha's name became known when she released Cari Pokemon at the end of 2017, reaching 100 million viewers on YouTube. Then in 2018, Faiha released her second single titled Enak Susunya and reached 91 million viewers. In early 2020, Faiha released her third single titled Anjing dan Ayam and then Hand Washing.
