BAF Lions Run 2025 Not Just a Running Event, But a Donation Moment for Cancer Fighters

Kapanlagi.com - After being postponed from the initial schedule of August 31, the BAF Lions Run 2025 was successfully held on October 5, 2025. Although it was delayed, the participants' enthusiasm remained undiminished. There were 5,000 people who joined the virtual run, and about 3,800 other participants ran together at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).

The distances available to choose from varied, starting from 2.5K, 5K, to 10K. This year marks the 7th edition of the charity run event initiated by BAF in collaboration with the Lions Indonesia Foundation.

The theme of BAF Lions Run 2025 is quite touching, namely Pediatric Cancer, because all the donation proceeds will be allocated for the construction of the Lions Extension Shelter.

This place is intended for child cancer fighters from all over Indonesia who are receiving treatment at referral hospitals in Jakarta.

2. Donating in a Fun Way

It’s not just about running; the committee also prepared a children's play area so that this event can be a fun moment for families.

The goal is to allow everyone to participate and donate in an enjoyable way. To make it even more exciting, the committee has also prepared fun prizes.

3. Prizes for Participants

The prizes prepared by the committee range from Yamaha motorcycles to various interesting door prizes. The South Jakarta City Government, represented by Mr. Andriyanto, also attended in person.

Mr. Andriyanto's presence is a form of support for sports tourism in Jakarta. For him, BAFLIONSRUN 2025 is an annual event that is consistently held with a noble social purpose.

Some celebrities also participated. One of them is Marini Zumarnis, who expressed that she is personally enthusiastic about joining the run.

She also donated because she sees that cancer is not just a genetic disease, but lifestyle changes are also a cause. So running is one way to maintain body condition.
