Balinale 2025 Celebrating 18 Years of Quality Cinema in Sanur, Save the Date

As the only Oscar® Qualifying Film Festival in Indonesia, Balinale has established a proud global reputation. The festival not only celebrates quality cinema from around the world but also promotes the growth of the local creative industry.

This year, Balinale comes with a new spirit. The festival, which lasts for seven days, will present a variety of interesting programs, ranging from fiction films, documentaries, to short films from Indonesian and international filmmakers.

Balinale has long been known as a platform for independent films and award-winning works that not only entertain but also provide new perspectives. In the previous edition in 2024, the festival screened 60 films from 25 countries, including 41 premieres.
