Kapanlagi.com - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of East Java Province conveys congratulations on the inauguration of Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Emil Dardak as the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java for the 2025-2030 period. Their inauguration was conducted directly by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, (20/02/2025).
With the inauguration of Khofifah-Emil as new leaders, BPBD Jatim hopes that they can bring progress and better welfare for the region and its people. In addition, BPBD Jatim also hopes that their leadership can bring new hopes, especially in enhancing resilience and disaster mitigation.
Before being elected as the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java for the 2025-2030 period, Khofifah-Emil has garnered much attention and public support with their vision and mission encapsulated in Nawabhakti Satya.
This concept reflects nine main programs aimed at bringing East Java towards a more advanced, inclusive, and highly competitive direction. The vision and mission include Bakti Jatim prosperous, Bakti Jatim healthy and smart, Bakti Jatim work, Bakti Jatim access, Bakti Jatim agro, Bakti Jatim blessings, Bakti Jatim empowered, Bakti Jatim trustworthy, and Bakti Jatim harmony.
Through the implementation of Nawabhakti Satya, Khofifah-Emil is committed to continuously bringing real change to East Java, ensuring sustainable development, and enhancing the welfare of the people in various aspects of life. With synergy between the government, society, and the private sector, this vision is expected to make East Java an increasingly advanced, innovative, and prosperous province.
Although it has been five years together with Emil in leading East Java, Khofifah emphasizes the importance of adaptation in building synergy with the new regents and mayors. Not only that, she also revealed that adaptation is necessary to face changes in several ministries as well as the emergence of new agencies.
Khofifah also highlighted the importance of readiness in facing global dynamics that could potentially influence regional policies. Therefore, she believes that training for regional heads and their deputies remains an aspect that needs to be considered.
She hopes that similar opportunities will also be given to deputy regional heads, both at the provincial and district/city levels.
"In my opinion, the opening is still important to be obtained by both regional heads and their deputies. Hopefully, this opportunity will also be given to the deputy regional heads at both the provincial and district/city levels," she said.
