Disgusting! Initially Offering a Ride, VC Forces Sexual Desire

Kapanlagi.com - Veri Cidiawanto (35), also known as VC, initially offered a ride to YA (26), who was waiting for public transportation at the time. Apparently, the resident of Singosari, Malang Regency, had already planned to commit sexual violence against his potential victim.

The suspect then took the victim on his motorcycle and took her on a route that was not in the direction of her home. Then, in a secluded place, he stopped the motorcycle and forced the victim to engage in sexual intercourse.

"After committing the act, the suspect fled, leaving the victim alone at the scene," explained Kompol Achmad Robial, Singosari Police Chief, Malang Police, after the reconstruction on Monday (25/9).

1. Experience Serious Injuries

The victim who suffered serious injuries was found by residents who then took him to the hospital for medical treatment. The victim experienced bleeding and wounds on the face.

Malang Police conducted a reconstruction of the case at the crime scene. The reconstruction showed the cruelty of the perpetrator in assaulting the victim.

The suspect, VC, is a resident of Gunungrejo Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. The suspect persuaded the victim, a resident of Sukorejo District, Pasuruan Regency.

2. Victim Taken to Kebon Teh

The victim was waiting for public transportation in Karanglo, Singosari, when the suspect approached and offered a ride. Due to the late hour and concerns about not getting transportation, the victim eventually accepted the suspect's invitation. At that time, VC promised to take the victim home.

However, it turned out that the suspect, VC, took the victim to Kebon Teh Wonosari, deviating from the route towards the victim's house. While on the deserted road, specifically in Toyomarto Village, VC stopped the motorcycle and forced the victim to engage in sexual intercourse.

3. Suspect Briefly Disappeared

The victim firmly rejected VC's invitation, but was then brutally attacked on the face. The perpetrator forcefully removed the victim's pants and sexually assaulted them with their fingers. As a result of the incident, the victim experienced heavy bleeding in their genitals.

For their actions, VC is charged under Article 289 of the Criminal Code regarding indecent acts and Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding assault, with a maximum prison sentence of 9 years.

After the incident on March 26, 2022, the suspect went into hiding and was listed as a wanted person. The suspect was successfully captured after evading capture for one year. VC was arrested by the Joint Investigation Team of Malang Police Resort and Singosari Police Station on September 12, 2023.
