Good News, Recovered Patients in Tangerang City Continue to Increase Since the Extension of PSBB

Kapanlagi.com - Good news comes from Tangerang City. The number of recovered Covid-19 patients there continues to increase since the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) were extended. As is known, the Tangerang City government has extended the PSBB.

The decision to extend the implementation of the PSBB is stipulated in Governor of Banten Decree Number 443/Kep.267-Huk/2020, where the extension of the PSBB will last for one month starting from November 20, 2020, to December 19, 2020.

The PSBB implemented throughout the Banten Province is in order to accelerate the handling of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Banten Province has re-implemented the extension. Responding to this, Tangerang City Mayor Arief R.Wismansyah revealed that the Tangerang City Government will continue to make great efforts to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in the Tangerang City area.

"The goal is clear, for the good of the community considering that the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing. In Tangerang City itself, there are still infected people even though the number has decreased," said Arief when contacted by phone on Friday (20/11).

Furthermore, the Mayor stated that the Tangerang City Health Agency is still continuously conducting early detection of Covid-19 spread.

"Several tests are still being conducted so that the spread map can always be monitored," explained Arief.

In addition, the Mayor added that socialization activities to the community about the importance of the 3M health protocol are still being carried out by all Tangerang City Government civil servants.

"Through Binwil, in addition to 3M, socialization about the importance of PHBS is also carried out by the community," he concluded.

The number of Covid-19 patients who have successfully recovered in Tangerang City shows a positive trend. Based on data from the covid19.tangerangkota.go.id website on November 21, 2020, at 09:50 AM WIB, the number of recoveries recorded is 2,268 people, an increase of 19 people from the previous day, which was originally recorded as 2,249 people. The number of positive patients being treated has decreased by 1 person from 254 to 253. (*)
