Kapanlagi.com - The prestigious Asian Television Awards (ATA) 29th edition is ready to be held. For the first time, this prestigious award is held in Indonesia, with SCM and Emtek as the organizers.
Harsiwi Achmad, SCM's programming and production director, revealed that this trust is a great challenge to make the event lively.
"Previously, it was held in Vietnam and this time in Indonesia, and this is also the first time in Indonesia. So, of course, this is a challenge for us at SCM or EMTEK to make this ATA spectacular," said Harsiwi Achmad during a press conference at SCTV Tower, Central Jakarta, Thursday (18/7/2024).
The 29th Asian Television Awards will give out a total of 63 awards divided into several categories. Harsiwi Achmad explained that the selection of winners involved 50 media experts from 10 countries.
"So there are 25 to 27 programming categories. Then there are 12 performance categories, 4 categories. Then there are 9 digital categories, 11 to 14 technical and creative categories. And 1 award for broadcaster of the year," he explained.
The grand event of the 29th ATA will take place for two days, on November 29 and 30, 2024, at EMTEK City studio.
On November 29, the event, which mostly involves technical awards, will be broadcasted on Vidio. While the main event on November 30 will be broadcasted live on Indosiar and Vidio.
"It will definitely be amazing. And it will be held for 2 days at EMTEK City studio on November 29th and November 30th. On November 29th, it will be broadcasted on Vidio, there will be 44 awards. Meanwhile, on November 30th, it will be live on Indosiar and Vidio," said Harsiwi.
Harsiwi hopes that the preparations for the 29th ATA will go smoothly until the D-day. He also hopes that many programs from Indonesian television stations, especially SCM, will receive awards in this event.
"Hopefully, all the preparations will go smoothly. At the same time, many good programs from SCM or SCTV, Indosiar, Vidio, and other TV stations can receive many awards," concluded Harsiwi Achmad.
