The Fun Volley Ball Match 2024 held at Indonesia Arena GBK, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (20/4) was intense. The match brought together Indonesia All Star and Red Sparks from Korea.
Unfortunately, Red Sparks managed to defeat Indonesia All Star with a score of 3-2. In the first set, the match was highly competitive with a close score difference after Yeum Hye-seon and her teammates collected two points, through powerful smashes by Indonesian athlete, Megawati.
The chase for points continued in the following games. Indonesia briefly took the lead at 8-6 against Red Sparks after Megawati failed to launch an attack.
However, slowly but surely Red Sparks caught up with the score. Then Red Sparks managed to equalize with Indonesia thanks to the powerful smash of one of the players, Park Hye Min.
When the score was tied, Sparks continued to leave Indonesia All Star behind when Kim S I was able to launch an attack that resulted in points for his team. Red Sparks finally ended the first set.
In the second set, player substitutions were made by Indonesia All Star. Yolla Yuliana and Shella Bernadetha entered the game to strengthen the Indonesian team.
However, unfortunately they struggled to score points and fell far behind in the standings.
The second set was also won by Red Sparks with a significant score deficit.
After that, the match continued and many surprises occurred when Mega and Yeum joined the Indonesian All Star team.
Instantly, this moment made all the spectators present at Indonesia Arena GBK even more excited.
