More than a Century Accompanying Indonesian Society, This is the 128th BRI Anniversary Logo

Kapanlagi.com - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk held the 128th anniversary kickoff event at the BRI Headquarters on Friday (27/10). This event itself marks the beginning of the BRI anniversary celebration, which falls on December 16. For the 128th anniversary kickoff event, BRI carries the theme 'Strong and Great'.

BRI President Director Sunarso stated that the theme of BRI's anniversary this year is inseparable from BRI's long journey, which continues to focus on sustainable growth to make BRI stronger and greater in giving meaning to Indonesia.

Sunarso added that strong and great also means that all Insan BRILian (BRI employees) always give their best with tough mentality to contribute the best for Indonesia. Supported by innovation, technology, and performance-based culture, it is expected that Insan BRILian is always ready to bring the spirit of change for BRI.

Launch of the 128th BRI Anniversary Logo

During the 128th anniversary kickoff event, the BRI 128th anniversary logo was also launched, where the meaning of 'Strong and Great' is depicted in the logo. The dynamic and modern shape of the logo represents BRI's journey to continuously grow stronger and become greater.

The number 128 in the logo represents BRI's long journey of 128 years. Its dynamic shape also represents BRI's ability to move quickly and be adaptive to various conditions.

Then the number 1 represents BRI's vision to become The Most Valuable Banking Group In Southeast Asia & Champion of Financial Inclusion. Then the number 2 focuses on BRI's transformation, namely in the aspects of digital and culture. And the number 8 represents infinity (limitlessness), where BRI wants to be a company that can continue to grow sustainably.

The blue color in the number 128 represents BRI's strength in contributing to Indonesia. Meanwhile, the orange color in the 128 logo represents the spirit and confidence to continue to develop and become even greater.

Various Festivities at the 128th BRI Anniversary Kick-Off

This year's 128th BRI Anniversary Kick-Off was attended virtually by all BRI units from all over Indonesia, especially the Regional Office and Branch Office. The series of kick-off activities for the 128th anniversary itself consists of SPORTARTCULAR, UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR, and BRILiaN After Office.

The Sportartcular event is a sports and art competition that has been taking place since early October 2023. With the theme "Energize BRILian Winning Team", this event is an implementation of a collaborative culture and work-life balance for all Insan BRILian.

Not only activities focused on BRI employees, this event is also enlivened by a Bazaar and Showcase Road to UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR. Dozens of BRI-assisted MSMEs promote and sell their best products with attractive promos.

Committed to Caring for MSMEs

This kick-off moment marks the beginning of a 2-month series of activities for the 128th BRI Anniversary until the peak event on December 16, 2023. There are meaningful and beneficial series of events, especially for the community. Starting from the UMKM EXPO(RT) BRILIANPRENEUR exhibition. Exhibition that opens opportunities for MSME actors who want to develop their potential to be able to compete in the international market.

BRI is committed to providing assistance and training for MSMEs to upgrade their class. Then there is the Nugraha Karya Desa BRILian award night. The best villages supported by BRI scattered throughout Indonesia will be selected to receive appreciation. Villages that are able to innovate and maximize their respective potentials for the country's economy will be chosen.

In commemorating the 128th anniversary this time, there is also the "BRI Cares" CSR program, including Jaga Sungai Jaga Kehidupan, BRI Menanam, and BRI Peduli Desa BRILiaN. Through this program, BRI invites all Indonesian people to continue to care for the environment. This is in line with BRI's commitment to implementing the Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) principles.
